Happy 10th Birthday Sweet Boy

Ten years ago God blessed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined when he brought you into this world and into my life. He knew just what I needed when he made me your Mommy. I am blessed beyond measure that he has given me such a beautiful gift. I am thankful for everyday of my life with you. You bring me happiness and joy in a way I never knew possible.

I think back to the very beginning of our life together and I know I never would have made it through some of life’s struggles without you by my side. Watching you grow is amazing. From the first days when you were so helpless and needed me for everything to now when you are so big and strong but still need me in a different sort of way.

You have taught me so many things. You taught me to never give up. Keep going no matter how tough the road ahead seems. You taught me patience. Kindness. You taught me to open my heart and love like I never even knew was possible.

Everyday with you is a complete joy. Everyday I learn something from you. I am so proud of you and the perfect little man you are growing to be. Watching you grow is such a beautiful thing. You are so smart and determined. I love that you have so much of my personality. You are witty and silly. You are also kind and loving.  I am so thankful for you…my son. Happy Birthday to my Boy!

We are here

Well we made it to Kissimmee, Florida at around 4:00 pm yesterday. It was a wonderful trip down and the kids were great! My husbands father and step-mom are such great people. This was my first time meeting them.We are happy to be here and excited for the week ahead!For now here are some pictures from Saturday!

We went to Old Town! The kids had a blast and we took pictures inside of the tire of a monster truck! They rode a few rides and saw some old cars. I was just too tired to finish the whole place! Next time....

Let Vacation Begin

So when I finished work today we loaded the rest of our stuff and headed out to our vacation destination…Florida. I haven’t been there in almost 9 years exactly and to day I am excited is an understatement.

Hubby had unrealistic expectations about what time we would get on the road…I told him I got off work at 5. By the time we finished loading the van and getting the kids all set, it would be more like 7….

This is after we gassed up and got ice for the cooler. Am I good or what?

Only 7 and a half hours until we reach South Carolina and our hotel!!
