Honest Scrap

I was tagged by Mommyof5 over at My Family. To accept this award I have to tell 10 honest things about myself and tag 10 people to do the same.

1. I am a Mommy and a Wife, and those are the two things in my life I am most proud of. I am thankful for the two children I birthed and the three I did not.
2. I would LOVE to someday add another child to our already large family. I have come to the understanding that if it is God's will it will happen, if it is not, it won't.
3. I met my husband online almost 10 years ago. I dropped everything almost 8 years ago to move and be with him. Everyone thought I was crazy, but we are still going strong.
4. I have come to a new point in my life where I have a fresh perspective on things. I am learning things everyday and trying to be the best person I can be.
5. I have an amazing group of friends who are more like family to me than friends.
6. I love to clean!! It is relaxing to me.
7. I have a weakness for Caribou coffee. I don't treat myself as often as I would like.
8. I like to be in control, but I am learning that I am not always in control all the time and that it is ok.
9. We are hoping to become first time homeowners really soon!!!
10. I spend way too much time reading other blogs than I do actually posting on mine.

I am tagging Sam @ My Family Journal

Elizabeth @ Polka Dots & Paisley

Melissa @ The Corkums

Melissa @ The Marsh Family Blog

I don't have 10 people to tag, but thanks for tagging me and sorry it took so long to get this post up!

My Boy & a Science Fair Project

So my sweet, darling boy had a BIG science fair project to do....No big deal right? Well normally, no, it would not be a big deal. Except for my sweet, darling boy didn't give me the proper information for said STEM Fair Science Project...until about 4 weeks after he should have. So we had a week and a half to complete a 6 week project. Did I mention he is sweet and darling and I love him more than life?

I am glad that I was able to help him and get this project completed, even if it was THE MOST STRESSFUL project I have ever had to do with either of my children!

It was nearly 90 degrees here today, in April!! I couldn't believe it. I welcomed the sunshine with all the snow we had this year!

Belated Easter Post

I know Easter was nearly a week ago, but I have been busy with all the kiddos. So here is my Easter post....albeit nearly a week late.

We woke up to four very excited children who couldn't wait to see what "The Bunny" left for them.

We had a lovely breakfast and got ready to head to church for Mass. It was a great service and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We left Church and came home where I went to see my sweet little God Daughter, Allyson.

While the ham was baking we colored the eggs (we were running behind) and had an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos.

We had a wonderful dinner with all four kids and my mother-in-law. My daughter Briana said a sweet blessing before we ate dinner. It was a wonderful day and I am thankful for all of the days with my family! Happy (almost a week late) Easter!
